PARENTS!!! PAY ATTENTION (Children's Music)

On Thanksgiving my son will be 15 months old. The little anklebitter is growing up quick. He is at a great age. He is starting to enjoy playing ball, chase, and being outside. One of the other things he loves is music. He likes attempting to play guitar with me and listening to his favoirte CD. He is actually starting to sing and clap along with some of his favorite songs.

I know many parents get really tired of listening to their children's music. It gets tiring to listen to the same thing over and over and over and over and over and over and over again. I cannot imagine when he gets older. There are times when I get tired of listening to Veggie Tales sing-a-longs.

My home church in Charlotte has had this group out twice now and we have picked up their CD upon recommendation. Go Fish is the name of the group. If you have not heard of these guys I highly recommend them. When my son had colic, one of the only things that would calm him down is their Snooze CD. We would play that and he would hear their accaplea sound and he would calm down. Now we have gotten two of their other CDs and he loves to listen to them in the car. He dances, sings, and claps along with the music and he is only 15 months old. This must mean the music is good, to grab his little 2 second attention span.

If you watch the promo video on the Go Fish Guys, they will claim that their music does not get old. They say that parents will enjoy the music as much as the children. They are right. I find myself singing their songs all the time. My wife and son have been out of town for the last couple days and all I can do is sing those songs. They are addicting. Not only that but they are a Christian group who is not bashing the Bible over kids head, they are simply having fun with great music.

Check out, this family give them two thumbs up!!
